Frescobaldi (John Davis) is an electronic music producer who currently resides in Lexington, KY. Since 2007, his musical ambitions have been both varied and mounting. In high school he would have most likely been caught playing the bass guitar, or listening to The Strokes. His love for the bass would lead him to pursue music formally at Morehead State University. There he played in various ensembles, and transcribed solos from Djanjo Reinhardt, and Miles Davis. During his junior year of college, upon discovering a copy of daft punk's Alive 2007 in the university library, he began seeking out information on how to create eletronic music.
Frescobaldi enjoys writing songs which sound as if they've been extracted from a film or video game. As for who most influences his sound; lately it has been the chilly, yet intimate sounds of Bjork's Vespertine, and a lot of Casino Versus Japan.
"I'm excited to check this out. It's always unique and cool-- what he sends us in."
